We already visited many Kölle Zoo shops in Germany in 2016 and 2017. And now our road trip in terms of "big pet stores" continues. This time we were at the Kölle Zoo branch in Heidelberg. We have been to Theo's Reef Corner in Belgium before. Reef Corner is also in the catchment area of many German cities in NRW. After the video about the shop, here is the video of the mega show tank with a net capacity of 2,000 litres.
We have been to Theo from Reef Corner in Belgium before. But that was probably 10 years ago. So it was just time for another trip in the sense of "On the road". You will find great photos and 2 videos, one of the shop and especially of the great show tank.
It was rather by chance that we ended up in Würselen near Aachen. We were amazed when we found a very large specialist store with a top seawater department. So we were able to interview the manager and some of the people responsible for the department. The result is a very interesting video, at least in our opinion.
After almost 2 years of planning and construction, the new Whitecorals shop is now up and running. Just in time for the Fisch & Reptil trade fair, there was an inauguration and opening ceremony. We have made a video about it. Have fun with it. This much we can already reveal: a really great shop has been created.
We were on the road again and visited the retailer AQZENO, the wholesaler Wussow and the Internet mail order company KN Aquristik. This resulted in a rather technically skilled and in-depth interview with Tom Jung.
Masterfisch is one of the largest shippers of fish and corals in Germany and Europe. They have just over 2000 individual aquariums for keeping fish and corals in their acclimatisation centre. We visited Masterfisch and captured the whole thing on video.

In addition to the new shop with more than 500m², which will delight saltwater fans, you can expect coral facilities with more than 100m² of water surface, fresh live rock, a large fish and invertebrate facility as well as 300 running metres of saltwater technology for every aquarium! As every year, many specials and discounts await you during the official opening on 1 and 2 December!
Once again, it was time for a visit to a specialist seawater shop. This time we were drawn to Freiburg im Breisgau. As usual, we concentrate on documenting the shop by video.
The south (Stuttgart area) of the republic has it good. There are three specialised coral shops there, not to mention the large Kölle Zoo in Stuttgart. No other region in Germany has so much "coral power". We were once again at Extremcorals and wanted to give a small update on the facility and the show tank.
How well does it work to film a mobile phone under water? Immo tried it and dipped his iPhone into the water... :-)
The Kölle Zoo Münster is a real exception for the Kölle Group, as it is located far away from all the others, which are mainly in the south of Germany. We visited the market and of course made a video, which we "garnish" with a few photos and information. Have fun with it.
It's been a long time since we visited Michael and Sabine in Bremen. To be precise, we haven't been to Bremen since they moved here 5 years ago. The new business premises are much bigger and airier than before in Platjenwerbe. We visited them and of course made an extensive video.
