Sicce is currently updating some recirculation and flow pumps in April 2019. With the SCNCRA ADV (non-adjustable) return pump and the SYNCRA SDC (adjustable RFP) and the new XSTREAM SDC flow pumps (1000-8500 litres at 12 watts) come many new possibilities, such as control via WiFi and app and an alarm on your mobile phone when the water temperature deviates. In the near future, it will be possible to continue to operate the pump at half power for 5 hours in the event of a power failure. We have summarised this for you and, of course, also shot a video.

After 6 months of operation, we take a closer look at the aquarium and the LEDs with their mounting brackets. After all, the mounting brackets come into almost direct contact with water. So rust is already an issue here, but that was to be expected. Aquaristik Singer has an idea for those who do not want to hang their LEDs.

You can hardly believe it. After a few weeks now and the increasingly intensive emergence and growth of glass lice, I treated the large glass lice one last time with Aiptacap from Aquamedic. Well, what didn't work the first time seems to work now. The glass lice are gone, but the problem with the flatworms is getting worse.
Kai Friedrich comes from Mannheim and is a marine aquarist with heart and soul. He is particularly fond of the large polyps. We finally managed to film the extremely colourful aquarium (which wasn't easy at all). A few days before our visit, the Reefloat arrived, which Immo Gerber introduced to us a long time ago. Here we were also allowed to film a little bit. The Reefloat will certainly divide opinion. Ultimately, it is an almost fully automated and gentle water change by means of a device.
