Dr Anthony Gill has described / introduced the new genus name "Compsanthias" in Zootaxa and assigned it to Pseudanthias hawaiiensis and Pseudanthias ventralis. Both are now called Compsanthias hawaiiensis and Compsanthias ventralis.
