The temperature in the seawater aquarium is also an important factor and must be kept an eye on regularly. Our corals tolerate a range in the optimimun of 24 - 27 degrees. In natural seawater, the pH is about 8.2 and is not subject to strong fluctuations. In the aquarium, a value between 8.0 and 8.4 should therefore be aimed for. Since the Aqua Medic Armatus series does not include a return pump, it is now time to install one. Of course, you can choose freely from the market, but you should always take into account the head that this pump has to cope with. So it's better not to choose too little. Modern pumps can usually also be controlled or regulated down.
