Home visits to others is a hobbyhorse of ours and is usually a lot of fun for us and the people we visit. This was also the case here during a visit to Thomas in Münster. Our luck at the time of the appointment, Florian from New Wave had just brought the new container. So in part 1 you can see the old tank and in part 2 the new one, all garnished with information about acrylic tanks and how Thomas solved the problem of moving.
Oliver Stark from Mondorf / Niederkassel has a reef aquarium that holds about 500 litres. It will soon be bursting at the seams. We were allowed to conduct a very nice interview which we of course recorded on video.
In the course of a visit to Andrzej's saltwater house, we were able to take a closer look at the new Ocean Guard system aquarium from Aquaforest. This resulted in a video. You can find information about the system and everything else in the article.
It was that time again. A special house visit was on the agenda. In May 2021, we were at Peter, Jenny and Hannh's in Essen and were able to take a look at a 280 cm long reef. Of course, this resulted in a video that shows this tank in all its facets.

We were on the road again and finally got to meet Hannes Kirchhauser in person. Of course we recorded everything on video in two parts: When it comes to keeping and breeding tropical corals, the Vivarium Karlsruhe occupies a top position among Germany's show aquariums. In addition, three seahorse species and two pipefish species are regularly bred. The rapid development in aquarium technology enables you to experience numerous fish together with living corals and sea anemones from their native habitats.
It was that time again. A special house visit was on the agenda. We visited our vlogger colleague Daniel Manns (Vipers Meerwasser) in Viersen at the beginning of December 2020. In February we visited Markus Gerhardus in Mudersbach near Siegen. He operates his seawater systems completely differently from other competitors (without skimming) and is very successful. It was that time again and there was a great seawater aquarium to visit. There is probably no better documented seawater tank than Martin's, which he maintains in great detail on his personal blog. We were very happy to be allowed to shoot there. Have fun with the 4,500-litre seawater facility.
Once again we were on the road. This time we went to Ulm to visit Alex Ihle and then to Dennis Langbecker at his "The Montis Club" in Kirchheim unter Teck. Of course, we made a video about Dennis' facility.

Like some other specialist shops, Meerwasser Böttcher had also closed the shop in Bergheim during the Corona period. They used this time to turn the whole shop upside down and to rebuild it. Now over 50,000 litres of seawater await you there. Have fun with the two videos :-)
