The aquariums come in litres:

275 litres, 435 litres, 605 litres, 790 litres and 980 litres. On display at the fair were the medium 435 and 790L.

Thanks to modern technologies and years of experience in marine aquariums, we were able to create the AF aquariums. Every element of this carefully designed set has been developed to meet the strictest quality standards. Thanks to the engineers' close cooperation with top aquarists, the AF Oceanguard aquariums have become one of the best reef solutions.

We have chosen Optiwhite ™ glass and black silicone, which has been specially developed for marine aquariums and guarantees the highest level of watertightness. The crystal clear glass does not distort colours, is easy to clean and increases scratch resistance. Pilkington Optiwhite ™ is a low-iron, super-clear glass with no greenish tint, which is extremely important, especially in marine aquariums made of thick glass. An extremely flat surface is guaranteed by the highest quality manufacturing process and ensures no distortion, providing perfect conditions for observing your corals. The black overflow box, bottom and back glass guarantee high aesthetics. The removable overflow comb is easy to clean and due to the noise-suppressing cover, the water flow is almost inaudible. The special foam base ensures safety and makes it easy to position the aquarium on the cabinet. The thickness of the glass allowed us to realise a rimless aquarium while ensuring excellent light transmission and full safety of the set.

The Optiwhite ™ glass, which is appreciated by aquarists all over the world, is located on a waterproof high-pressure hardwood plywood construction that guarantees high load-bearing capacity. AF Aquarium base cabinets are delivered assembled. This saves you time and you can be sure that they have been properly assembled and thoroughly tested. Due to the specific requirements of marine aquariums, we have chosen technologies that meet the highest standards and requirements for offshore yacht construction. This guarantees durability and safety and makes the cabinet ten times more durable than other products available on the market.

Ocean yacht technology means using only waterproof materials that are resistant to difficult conditions, i.e. humidity or heat. The construction has no weak points. Apart from the multi-layer pressurised yacht plywood, we have also taken care of the smallest details such as Japanese steel hinges and A2 stainless steel screws with increased durability. The minimalist design is perfect for any interior and the removable waterproof outer panel allows you to change the colour of the cabinet without disassembling or moving the aquarium. We have combined aesthetics with practicality, which is why we focus on ease of use! The modern design allowed us to create the right space for daily aquarium maintenance, as well as a convenient shelf (e.g. for a dosing pump) and a place for a cooling unit.

A highly resistant PVC filter basin on a vibration-reducing foam completes the whole. We chose PVC instead of glass, not only for a great look, but also for maximum durability and waterproofing. The modern design of the filter basin also includes water level markings to make it easier to adjust the technique. We have equipped the cascade chambers with filter socks that can be replaced with Aquaforest media reactors at any time. The non-return valve prevents water from flowing into the filter basin, e.g. in the event of a feed pump failure or a temporary power cut. The pipe diameters, perfectly adapted to the highest needs of aquaristics, guarantee a large system capacity and thus - a much more efficient filtration.

The complete pipework has been developed for the needs of marine aquariums, you can assemble it quickly and above all without sticking! We used solid bulkheads with a large diameter to avoid even the smallest micro-leaks, which often lead to deformation of the base plates and eventually to cracks on the aquarium floor. With a precise stopcock, you can easily adjust the water level.
